In the necessitate The Color Purple, segregation plays an important role and the differences amid black people and white people are shown through race and life. The Color Purple focuses on the lives of several African American women who are face with abuse, violence, and cruelty. The fim is set in Macon County Georgia and there are two main characters Celie and her sister Nettie. Celie is the character the movie is centered around and she is also the films narrator.
