However, because he is part mortal, Gilgamesh mustiness eventually die. As Siduri the barmaid tells Gilgamesh: You will neer find that smell for which you are looking. When the gods created man they allotted to him death, however life they well-kept in their own keeping (32). This is the infinite difference mingled with the gods and man beings: the gods bouncing forever and human must die. In the Gilgamesh Epic the gods are generally not kind nor do they care much about their servants. They require their own unfailing live to pursue and generally lapse little wishing to their human servants.

In such a world, only one attitude makes much sense, and again Siduri gives Gilgamesh wide advice for a human being: As for you, Gilgamesh, fill your belly with good things; mean solar day and night, night and day, dance and be merry, bedspread and rejoice. Although he must die, Siduri at last persuades Gilgamesh to live well and make his name a legendary king. Gilgamesh is finally concern for living well and construction the wall of Uruk.
